Essential Services

   The Centre for Excellence’s Essential and Environmental Services  module allows the user to define Standard Codes for services. These codes define the inspection and control requirements for all Essential and Environmental Services. The application is a database of all properties that contain services, the services within these properties, the inspection, quality and reporting requirements of these properties.

   Services can be essential services such as Fire Services - Doors, Hallways and Stairs - Hydrants, Mains and Sprinkler Systems. Services can also be environmental services such as air conditioning units and swimming pools.

Design Philosophy

   The Centre for Excellence’s Essential and Environmental Services module was designed as a generic property based services register that allows the user to fully define service types, inspection types, inspection result requirements. Once defined the system manages these inspections by producing reminder notices for each property and for the specific services contained therein, at the required inspection period. The system records inspection results and comments by inspectors to produce a whole of life report for a property’s compliance and any breach of the requirements and the persons responsible.
